Cookie Policy (Part of the Privacy Policy)
Reviwise uses cookies and similar technologies to provide and improve the Platform, analyze usage, and enhance your experience. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies such as:
- Local storage and session storage;
- Tracking pixels and tags;
- Analytics scripts.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Essential (Strictly Necessary) Cookies
These cookies are required for the Platform to function properly. They enable core features such as:
- Authentication and login;
- Maintaining your session while you navigate the dashboard;
- Security features to protect your account.
You cannot disable essential cookies through our cookie tools, but you can block them in your browser settings (although the Platform may not function correctly).
2.2 Performance & Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how users interact with the Platform, so we can improve performance and usability. For example, we may use them to:
- Measure which pages are visited and how often;
- Identify navigation patterns and bottlenecks;
- Analyze error rates and crashes.
We may use tools like Google Analytics or similar services. These cookies do not typically identify you personally and are used in aggregate.
2.3 Functional Cookies
These cookies allow the Platform to remember your preferences, such as:
- Language or region settings;
- Saved filters or layout preferences;
- UI customizations within the dashboard.
2.4 Marketing & Attribution Cookies
Reviwise does not serve third-party advertisements, but we may use limited marketing or attribution cookies to:
- Measure traffic from specific campaigns or referral sources;
- Track trial signups and conversions from marketing channels;
- Understand which marketing efforts are effective.
We do not use ad network cookies to track your behavior across unrelated websites.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties that provide services to us, such as:
- Stripe (for payment pages and billing-related flows);
- Google (for OAuth login and analytics services);
- Email and support tools (for in-app messaging or help widgets).
These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, and we encourage you to review them.
4. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
4.1 Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. You can usually find these settings in your browser's "Options", "Settings", or "Preferences" menu. Be aware that blocking essential cookies may impact the functionality of the Platform.
4.2 Cookie Banners and Preferences
If required in your region (e.g., EU/EEA), we may provide a cookie banner or preferences panel that allows you to:
- Accept all cookies;
- Reject non-essential cookies;
- Customize your cookie choices.
5. Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature that signals websites not to track your online activity. Industry standards for DNT are not yet uniform, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We will review and update our approach if industry standards change.
6. Updates to the Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted as part of this Privacy Policy, with an updated Effective Date. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.
